Lucille raised her grandaughter, Frances Schiavo, from age 14 months
until she was about 6 years of age. Lucille's duaghter, Mama Ann,
apparently was not well after her birth and had two other small children
(Provie and Lucille) to take care of so the grandmother took care of the
baby. Mama Ann and Papa Tom would visit every day since they were not
far away.

Frances remembers being in a high chair in her grandfather's (Filippo's)
fruit market near the door and the outside fruit and vegtable stands. A
very big cop would come by each day and pick her up and call her his
little girl.

After coming to this country, Lucille lived in New Haven, Conn -
Cleveland, Ohio - possibly Waterbery, Conn - and finally in Hamilton,
Ontario, Canada.
