She was my maternal grandmother's half aunt.
My maternal great grandmother, Lucille Cianciolo Sansone, was my paternal
grandfather's sister.
She came to U.S.A with my maternal grandmother, Lucia Cianciolo-Sansone
but returned to Sicily in 1898 because her husband could not find work
here.
They took with them my grandmother, Anna Marie Sansone-Schiavo who was
about 10 years old and raised her. My grandmother did not return to
America (Canada) until 1908 after she married.
I met her in 1967 when I visited Sicily. Unfortunately, I did not get a
picture of her at that time.
