Media Players

I've been long building a collection of videos, both purchased DVD and recorded TV movies (as well as many kids shows)…but playback has always been a challenge.

I've done the XBMC but found it to be a hassle, and the XBox itself is not the most reliable box having killed 2 of 3 in 2 years….

After watching the media players develop over the past couple years…hence I've started a compilation of the various players, comparing attributes…at two levels…

1. Standard Definition…where most of my recording is anyhow…
2. HD players…I've a 1080p front projector setup but rarely use it to it's potential…maybe this is the start…
